General questions

Do you provide support for driver tipping?

Yes. Shopify recently released native support for tipping. We can pass the tip value through to your API when creating a delivery. You would then invoice the merchant for the cost of delivery plus the tip amount.

Do we bill Zapiet for the cost of deliveries or the merchant directly?

You will need to bill each merchant individually using your own payment solution.

Which countries do you support?

We designed the API to be totally flexible so that we can support delivery operations from all corners of the World.

How much does it cost to create an integration?

It's totally free! We don't charge for the use of our Last Mile Delivery API. We pay our bills via the apps monthly fee.

Does the delivery status automatically update in Shopify?

Yes, we automatically synchronise the following statuses with Shopify; out for delivery, attempted delivery, failed delivery and cancelled delivery. Each merchant can decide whether or not to disable the synchronisation.

How long do integrations take?

Dependant on your API you can be up and running in as little as 20 minutes.

Do you aggregate prices from multiple couriers?

No we don't aggregate prices. We feel price aggregation is not a sustainable or fair way for last mile delivery providers to operate. Instead we prefer our merchants to build long lasting mutually beneficial relationships with their couriers.
